Plot

In suburban Philadelphia, Dina—a loud, unconventional 49-year-old—asks her fiancé Scott, a Walmart greeter, to move in. Both grew up neurodivergent in a world that overlooked their worth, and they’re deeply in love. But cohabitation brings a new hurdle: Scott clams up about physical intimacy. Dina, a Kardashians devotee, longs to teach him everything she’s absorbed about passion from books, TV, and her ex-husband. Yet her quirky attempts to pull him closer keep backfiring—unearthing fears, doubts, and communication breakdowns as they struggle to bridge their mismatched views on love and closeness.
